2012: Short-term fellowship at the Huntington Library, San Marino, California (declined).
2010: Graduate bursary from the New Chaucer Society to speak at the 17th Biennial Congress at the Università per Stranieri di Siena.
2008: Cambridge University Domestic Research Studentship (funding for doctoral research); Jebb Fund: doctoral studentship at the University of Cambridge in the field of European Literature (declined).
